JUNIORS

Welcome

The Junior section is open to 10-16 year old girls and is a place where we are focused on not only nurturing a lifelong love of netball but supporting the development of players to fulfil their individual potential. The Junior section is led by a number of qualified Level 1 and 2 coaches and regular league games are held throughout the season (on Sundays) against other Somerset County Junior teams. Training nights are based around our 3 P's:

Preparation Week - players will be in age groups ready for upcoming league matches

Performance Week - players will be grouped based on their performance level (please note that these groups are not set in stone)

Positional Week - players will be grouped and given specialist coaching based on their position/s

New members can attend 3 training sessions for free before committing to join the club, but please note that due to the popularity of our Bee Netball and Junior sections we are likely to be at full capacity and may not be able to accept any new players. For more information on joining the Bee Netball or Junior sections please contact our Junior Membership Secretary –galmingtonncjuniors@gmail.com.

Matches

Galmington Juniors take part in the Somerset Junior League for U16, U14 and U12 age groups. Matches take place on Sundays, usually at a central venue.
