Galmington NC - Safeguarding Policy
Galmington NC are committed to the safeguarding of children, and comply with the England Netball policy which can be found here. We also have a Safeguarding Officer, Helen Brunt.
Juniors
The Junior club is open to 11-16 year old girls. and is split into age group categories, with coaching targeted carefully at each age level, from Level 2 & Level 1 Coaches. Regular tournaments are held throughout the season (on Sundays) against other Somerset County Junior teams.
New members can attend 3 training sessions for free, before committing to join the club. New members can come along at any point in the season, and should introduce themselves to a session leader.
All members are expected to provide their own kit, both for training and matches.
Membership Costs

Annual membership is £70 and includes:
* All training sessions
* Insurance
* Affiliation to play in matches and
* A quarterly magazine from All England Netball.

Refunds of membership are at the Committee's discretion and will not include fees payable to England Netball or Netball South West.

High 5's
The High 5 Club is open to 5-11 year old boys and girls. High 5 netball is designed to be a fun and skillful game, where players rotate positions and adapt their skills to play in any position. This modified game provides a foundation for young people to develop the physical, social and tactical skills required, in addition to developing knowledge and understanding of the game. Our coaches have attended specific High 5 training sessions, and have formulated structured training sessions to encourage and develop players into the full game.
New members can attend 3 training sessions for free, before committing to join the club. New members can come along at any point in the season, and should introduce themselves to a session leader.
