Club History
Galmington Netball Club was founded in 1968, as a Youth Club team, and by 1996 there were 6 senior teams playing in the Somerset League - Galmington, Trident, Hovelands, Claremont, Parkfield & Queensway.
In 1998, the Galmington team entered the Regional League and are currently playing in the Premier Regional League. Trident qualified for Regional League from 2006-2011. In 2007, a 7th senior team was formed, called Newbarn, and the Club also introduced a Junior High 5 section for 5-11 year olds.

To encourage members to participate in netball at a level which meets their needs, and in a capacity to attain maximum fulfilment, enjoyment and satisfaction.


Club Accreditation
Galmington Netball Club achieved the Gold Award in CAPS Accreditation in September 2004 and are currently the only club in Somerset to have a Gold standard. CAPS is England Netball's accreditation scheme & Sport England's Club Mark to show a club is an effective, quality & child friendly netball environment.
